Good show, not an all-time fave, but pretty hot. I don't know if this is the recording I downloaded or not, but Cal Expo had great sound, so you basically can't go wrong.

Subject: Matter of opinion
Subject: Matter of opinion
Whether this source is inferior or not is completely a matter of opinion. I for one think all the sources should be up here on LlaMA so people can decide for themselves which they like best. That is, unless there are certain people who wish to set themselves up as supreme arbiter of others' tastes.
For myself, I think this is the best source here for this show. It's the best balanced, enough Phil without saturating the other voices and instruments out of existence. If Healy had had to patch out of a taper from whom to broadcast this show, I've no doubt it would have been this one.

Subject: inferior source?
Subject: inferior source?
why put up a source that's inferior to the other sources already here? if one posts a show at archive, there should be a great soundboard and a great audience available. but why post an inferior audience recording to that which is already available? makes no sense to me.
